Emma is a registered psychologist and clinical registrar providing psychology therapy to youth and adults. Emma focuses on a strengths-based approach to therapy, which centres on expanding the knowledge and resources that client's already have to enhance their self-efficacy. Emma has experience in working with clients with mild to complex levels of psychological distress.

Emma completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Tasmania, and is passionate about keeping up to date with current evidence based treatment for mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, interpersonal problems and personality-related issues.

Emma caters her treatment plan to the individual she is working with, and draws on various modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment-Focused Therapy and Eye Movement and Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Emma recognises that mental health issues are often related to structural inequalities, thus she draws on social-justice based frameworks including post-structuralist Narrative Therapy and feminist approaches when relevant to treatment.
