Rebates may apply to the following fees if you are attending with a Mental health Care Plan or you have private insurance. Please reach out to our admin to discuss the options.

Our provisional psychologist is accepting new clients at a concession rate.

Bulk billing:

We are committed to ensuring our services are accessible to everyone. You should not suffer because money is a barrier to services. If you would like to see one of our therapists, please talk to us about bulk billing. We bulk bill in special circumstances for financially disadvantaged clients, including aged pensioners. This option is only available for clients who prearrange bulk billing on a case by case basis.

All of our therapists accept NDIS care plans. Please send through your plan to hello@enlightenmh.com.

If you have a referral from your GP, Psychiatrist of other medical professional please send it to our email address: hello@enlightenmh.com

If you are being referred from a third party organisation who will cover your Psychology fees, please ask them to send it to the same email.

All documents received are stored in our secure software.

Medicare rebates vary based on the duration you are seen, whether via video conference, telephone, or practitioner. Please note that the below rates may vary at any time.

Psychology: Approx $90 rebate.

Clinical Counselling: Approx $80 rebate (from BUPA and other private health insurers).

Terms and conditions:

As noted above you must have a MHCP from your GP in order to receive a rebate from a Psychologist.

We accept workers compensation referrals. Please send through your care plan and workers compensation approval number to hello@enlightenmh.com.

If you wish to access the Medicare rebate, you will need to obtain a referral (MHCP) from a doctor (GPs, psychiatrist or paediatricians) prior to your session. 

Please contact your individual health fund for specific information. You are not able to claim both Medicare and your health fund rebates for the same session.

Contact your local medical practice and ask the receptionist to book in a long appointment with your GP as you will be requiring a Mental Health Care Plan assessment. A Mental Health Care Plan requires additional time to be completed, usually 30 minutes.

Discuss your concerns with your GP and ask them to complete a Mental Health Care Plan (if you are eligible) so that you can access psychological services and receive a Medicare rebate.

If you are eligible, you should leave the GP appointment with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
